It’s almost the end of summer, and boy is it hot. I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to some cooler weather and some of the treats that come with the fall season (Hello hot apple cider!). But since it is so humid and sticky outside, I thought an ice cold taste of fall would suffice.
Ingredients
1/2 c. carrot juice (1-2 carrots)
1 c. apple juice (2 medium apples)
2 tbsp. greek yogurt
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1 1/4 c. ice
2-3 shakes of cinnamon (about 1/4 tsp.)
1/2 c. carrot juice (1-2 carrots)
1 c. apple juice (2 medium apples)
2 tbsp. greek yogurt
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1 1/4 c. ice
2-3 shakes of cinnamon (about 1/4 tsp.)
Directions
1. Juice the apples and carrots (you can do this in a blender with 1/4-1/2 c. of water and a fine mesh sieve).
2. Add the juice along with the other ingredients into the blender and mix until smooth. Pour into some glasses and enjoy!
